Described as a “master of the magical art of rubato” (Hamburger Abendblatt) and as a “magician on the piano” (Mannheimer Morgen), Olga Zado touches audiences and critics around the world with her deep poetic musicianship and sparkling electrifying technique. As a highly gifted child Olga gave her first solo recitals and performances with orchestras from the early age of 7, making her international debut at the Kulturcasino Bern (age 12). Since then she performed as a soloist at major European concert venues, such as the Berlin Philharmonie, Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, the Philharmonie at the Gasteig Munich, the Gewandhaus zu Leipzig, the Mozarteum Salzburg, the Staatsoper Unter den Linden Berlin, the Meistersingerhalle Nuremberg, the Kremlin in Moscow etc.
Olga is also passionately dedicated to chamber music and is the artistic director of the chamber music series “FinestClassics” in Mannheim, Germany. She works with partners such as Veronika Eberle, Antonio Meneses, Sergei Nakariakov, Kian Soltani, Pablo Barragan and others.
I firmly believe that music, especially communication through music, is one of the most vital tools to create a healthier and more harmonious society. Clearly, the earlier the seed is planted, the more noticeable its fruits will be.
It is refreshing to see how the board and teachers of the Verbier Copperfield School have the vision to provide the most multidimensional and inspiring education for the children, supporting their creativity with an individual approach.
With excitement, I look forward to playing in the Copperfield Concert series, meeting the students of this wonderful school, and learning how they perceive music and what role and impact it has on their well-being and everyday life.
