Louise is very excited to be joining Copperfield as Head of Residential and becoming part of the community. As a geographer and  sports teacher and coach , Louise loves living in the mountains and sharing her passion for the outdoors. 

 

Louise has over 9 years in Swiss Boarding schools leading the pastoral remit and supporting the academic and personal and social development of her students. In addition, she has worked in England, New Zealand and Scotland teaching physical education, geography,  sports coaching  and more recently providing EAL support.

 

With an adventurous spirit and a can do attitude, Louise creates a warm, happy and engaging environment wherever she goes. She loves travel, skiing, tennis, theatre and live music as well as cooking, sharing this passion with her students. There is usually always some cake being made or eaten  in the boarding house. 

 

Louise is a community builder, advocating for and supporting the students in her care. With an inclusive approach to community life, Louise looks forward to extending her French lexicon in Verbier  and getting to know everyone.
