Our school offers the following ski and snowboard programs:
Regular, Freeride and Competition.
These programs are designed to satisfy the different initiatives of students in their winter sports experience at Verbier ski resort. The regular program provides complete basic training that gives the necessary tools to enjoy the mountains safely on all types of slopes. Here, initial experiences are also given to the world of freeride and competition.
The specific Freeride and Competition programs are aimed at those students who have already achieved an advanced level of the sport of skiing and wish to improve and participate in regional competitions. The hours and intensity of training require greater dedication and commitment.

Meet our Athletic Director, Fitzroy Madsen
Fitzroy is our Athletic Director. His role at the school will be focused exclusively on creating and delivering a meticulously planned year-round training programme on- and off-snow for all abilities, incorporating ski racing and training opportunities across the Alps.
He has worked as a ski instructor for over 15 years across Argentina, Switzerland, Andorra, Austria and Italy. In 2020 he came to visit friends in Verbier for ten days. Like so many, he fell in love with the valley and is here to stay.
Fitzroy said: “Being part of the Copperfield School ski project today is a great honour and a great challenge. Helping the children to enjoy the snow and realise their sports dreams will be a beautiful mission”
Fitzroy speaks Spanish, German, English, French and Italian.
